War Dogs Artillery & Mortar Calculator β Wardogs Arty Calc & Firing Solutions
Precision indirect fire calculator and ballistic firing solution engine for WARDOGS / War Dogs. Features instant elevation mils, azimuth compass bearings, time of flight, 3D topographical terrain compensation, and MGRS 100m grid coordinate targeting across Bakurani, Ozeti, and Zestafona.
War Dogs 81mm Mortar Firing Table (Range to Elevation Mils)
The 81mm Mortar in War Dogs fires between 132 meters (minimum range at 850 mils) and 684 meters (maximum range at 150 mils). Use this reference firing table when calculating rapid indirect fire solutions:
| Range (Meters) | Elevation (Mils) | Time of Flight (Seconds) |
|---|---|---|
| 132 m | 850 mils | ~12.2 s |
| 150 m | 826 mils | ~12.8 s |
| 200 m | 770 mils | ~14.2 s |
| 250 m | 710 mils | ~15.5 s |
| 300 m | 645 mils | ~16.7 s |
| 350 m | 582 mils | ~17.8 s |
| 400 m | 518 mils | ~18.9 s |
| 450 m | 454 mils | ~19.8 s |
| 500 m | 390 mils | ~20.7 s |
| 550 m | 326 mils | ~21.5 s |
| 600 m | 262 mils | ~22.3 s |
| 650 m | 198 mils | ~23.0 s |
| 684 m | 150 mils | ~23.5 s |
SPH-2 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer (Low & High Trajectory Arcs)
The SPH-2 heavy artillery system in WARDOGS supports two distinct firing modes depending on terrain, obstacles, and flight time:
- Low-Angle Trajectory Arc: Range 780m to 2,629m (Elevation 0β280 mils). Delivers rapid projectile delivery with flatter ballistics, ideal for clear lines of fire and open ground.
- High-Angle Trajectory Arc: Range 780m to 2,264m (Elevation 800β1,400 mils). Steep parabolic arc that clears tall mountains, ridges, and urban buildings to strike concealed enemy positions.
MGRS Grid Coordinate Targeting for Bakurani, Ozeti & Zestafona
WardogTools incorporates high-resolution satellite imagery mapped to standardized 100-meter military grid reference coordinates (XX.XX, YY.YY). Enter battery and target positions manually or click anywhere on the map to calculate instant bearings (0Β° to 360Β°) and distance in meters.
3D Altitude & Rooftop Sights Compensation
Standard flat-ground firing tables cause rounds to fall short when shooting uphill or overshoot when firing downhill. Our calculator samples true digital elevation models across every sector of Bakurani, Ozeti, and Zestafona, and allows operators to toggle between ground level and rooftop elevation for key landmarks such as churches, radio towers, and industrial warehouses.
Observed Fire Correction & Calibration (Adjust Fire)
If wind, projectile dispersion, or uneven ground cause a spotter round to miss, activate Adjust Fire. Click where the explosion landed to instantly receive range corrections (Add/Drop meters) and lateral deflection (Left/Right meters). Lock in the calibration to apply universal offset compensation to all subsequent fire missions.
